High Tech High is seeking an Expanded Learning Assistant for aftercare at the Mesa Campus. This in-person, part-time role supports enrichment, tutoring, and activity leadership after school, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for students.

The position emphasizes supervising activities, attendance, and collaboration with the Aftercare Coordinator. Applicants should have a high school diploma and experience with students, including effective communication and inclusivity.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with students is preferred.
• Ability to work well with school-aged students and lead enrichment activities.
• Effective information sharing and communication with students and staff.
• Ability to engage diverse student populations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and organized environment for the students.
• Take attendance to ensure that all students are accounted for.
• Plan, develop and run engaging student activities.
• Assist students with virtual learning activities and homework assignments.
• Understand and implement emergency procedures, including safety protocols.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
