Aspen Dental in Gainesville, FL is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support patient flow, assist doctors, and manage operatory setup. You will ensure sterilization, adhere to safety and HIPAA guidelines, and help with radiographs and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or registration as required by state.
• Radiology (X-ray) certification required by state.
• CPR/BLS certificate current.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain annual CE requirements and expanded functions per state.

Responsibilities

• Assist DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for staff.
• Complete sterilization processes and ensure training compliance.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines and autoclave.
• Set up trays and operatories for procedures.
• Support patient charting and handoffs to doctors.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
• Take dental radiographs as required.
• Order and maintain supplies within budget.
