You will assist with daily operations, support doctors during procedures, manage operatory setups, sterilization, and patient education. The position emphasizes OSHA/HIPAA compliance and ongoing professional CE.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• Radiology (X-ray) certification required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes and ensure compliance.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines, autoclave, compressor.
• Prepare tray and operatory setup for procedures.
• Support patient charting and train others on handoffs.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Take dental radiographs and educate patients on oral care.
• Order and maintain supplies within budget.
