Aspen Dental in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for a full-time role. You will support doctors, help maintain productive patient flow, take radiographs, and ensure sterilization and infection control procedures are followed.

You will perform a variety of procedures, teach others, and manage supplies within the practice budget. The position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• Rad x-ray certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certificate.
• 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control techniques.
• Maintain annual CE requirements.
• State certification in expanded functions as required by state.

Responsabilités

• Assist the DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist the doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Break down operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and Aspen safety requirements.
• Take dental radiographs.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Order and manage supplies within the practice budget.
• Perform office tasks as necessary.
