Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support doctors, manage operatory flow, and ensure patient comfort. You will perform radiographs, maintain infection control, and train staff on procedures within a supportive, team-focused environment.

You should have a current Dental Assistant license, Radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and 2+ years of chairside experience, with strong sterilization and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant License/Registration/State-required Certification.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certificate required.
• Annual CE requirement maintained per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Maintain productive patient flow under guidance of DA office team.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines; train staff on processes.
• Take dental radiographs and provide post-treatment oral care instructions.
• Order and manage supplies within practice budget.
