Aspen Dental is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support doctors and the office team. You will perform a range of clinical tasks, assist with patient flow, and ensure sterile operatory conditions while maintaining high standards of infection control.

The role requires 2+ years of dental assisting experience, state certification in expanded functions as required, radiology credentials, and CPR/BLS. We offer a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• State radiology (x-ray) certification as required.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control techniques.
• Maintain annual CE requirements as specified by state.
• State certification in expanded functions as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Support with patient flow and charting.
• Prepare operatory and sterilize equipment.
• Take dental radiographs and provide post-treatment instructions.
• Order and maintain supplies within practice budget.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and safety compliance.
• Train others to execute patient handoffs.
