Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Woodlyn, PA is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our friendly, professional team. You will support dentists, maintain sterile environments, and help ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have EFDA and PA X-ray licenses, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy practice. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Must have an active PA x-ray license.
• Must have an EFDA license.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Must have an active PA x-ray license
• Must have an EFDA license

• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Mondays and Wednesdays-Fridays
• Salary Range:$28.00-$32.00/hour
• Location:Woodlyn, PA
