Job summary

The Smilist in Blue Bell, PA seeks a reliable Dental Assistant or EFDA to join our growing practice and contribute to high-quality dental care in a warm, professional setting.

This full-time role offers a Mon-Thu schedule (no weekends) with a pay rate of $22–$30/hour based on licensure; benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plus opportunities for growth and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• PA X-ray license required.
• EFDA is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing concerns and promoting the doctor’s strengths.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist doctors to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Escort patients to the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain operatory supplies; order and replenish as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant or EFDA to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Must posses a PA x-ray license
• EFDA a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude
