Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience or education in dental assisting.
• Completion of a full 4-year dental assistant or dental hygiene program with radiation physics hours.
• Combination of education and experience meets 100% of requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside and prepare instruments and materials.
• Perform intra-oral procedures including prophylaxis and sealants.
• Take and process radiographs, fabricate models, and prepare trays.
• Prepare patients and maintain treatment records.
• Maintain infection control and prepare equipment for use.
