Qualifications

• Experience in chairside assistance and dental radiography.
• Completion of a full 4-year dental assistant or dental hygiene program with radiation coursework.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient education practices.

Responsibilities

• Restores teeth after preparation has been completed.
• Provides chairside assisting and anticipates dentist needs for instruments and materials.
• Performs intra‑oral procedures such as prophylaxis, sealants, temporary restorations, and coronal polishing.
• Performs radiological procedures and dental lab tasks including model pours and tray fabrication.
• Receives and prepares patients; maintains appointment and treatment records.
