Job summary

Turner Exhibits, Inc. is seeking an Installation Supervisor/Installer to join a hybrid role managing both shop and on-site activities in the Seattle area.

You will lead installation planning, coordinate with designers and subcontractors, and ensure safety compliance and timely delivery of exhibits. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with experience coordinating budgets, equipment, and crews on diverse projects.

• Appropriate industry knowledge relevant to architecture, general contracting, and exhibits.
• Planning skills to anticipate needs and resources.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for multi-tasking and clear delegation.
• Strong leadership to guide diverse on-site teams and subcontractors.
• Sound decision-making to assess conditions and act decisively.
• Calm, controlled demeanor to de-escalate issues under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal team meetings to outline, define, and plan installation approaches.
• Develop installation schedules and allocate resources, sequence work, and set milestones.
• Create installation estimates and define methods and timelines with clients.
• Coordinate bids from installation subcontractors and prepare Site Safety Plans.
• Attend client meetings and conduct on-site surveys and pre-install planning.
• Manage installation purchasing, travel, lodging, per diem, and equipment rental.
• Lead installation planning meetings and document methods during setup and testing.
• Represent TE on-site to clients and contractors; communicate Site Safety Plan to crew.
• Direct TE installers or client-supplied labor; monitor schedule, scope, and budget.
