Job summary

Eastlake Cardiovascular, PC is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our fast-paced cardiovascular practice. You will perform GXT, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing under physician supervision, contributing to diagnostic testing and patient care.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Exercise Physiology with at least 2 years of testing experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing GXT, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing in a clinical setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and testing protocols.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exercise stress testing (GXT), stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing in collaboration with supervising physicians and staff.
• Monitor patients during testing and respond to abnormal responses.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all testing.
• Document testing results and maintain patient charts.
• Explain protocols to patients and provide reassurance and education.
• Assist with maintaining testing equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to ensure high-quality patient care.
