Zurich Insurance in the United States seeks an Executive Underwriter or AVP, Underwriting Director – Large Casualty for the National Account, Large Casualty Team in the West Region, with flexible work locations in Los Angeles and Irvine.

The role supports profitable growth and strong renewal retention by evaluating, pricing and negotiating highly complex large-scale commercial risks while cultivating broker and client relations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years experience in underwriting/market facing area OR 10+ years in the Claims or underwriting support area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree with 3+ years in underwriting/market facing area OR 8+ years in claims/underwriting support area
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience quoting on time and in a team environment

Mansioni

• Underwriting, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business
• Market facing and production within the Large Casualty, National Accounts division
• Administering underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and rating manual rules
• Developing and maintaining broker relationships in the Southern California Territory
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments
