Aria, part of MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, seeks an Assistant Executive Steward to oversee department functions and guest service excellence. The role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring sanitation, and driving cost-conscious operations within the kitchen and dining areas.

The ideal candidate brings stewarding experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to brand standards, with flexibility for morning, swing, or graveyard shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of stewarding experience.
• Flexible schedule: Morning, Swing, or Graveyard shifts.
• Experience managing employees under a CBA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned functions in the department according to strategy and budget.
• Ensure guest service aligns with brand standards and service goals.
• Oversee staff including hiring, training, coaching, discipline, and scheduling.
• Suggest ideas for new products, services, and processes.
• Inspect equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage equipment and supply requisitions to control costs.
• Maintain inventory and records for dinnerware, glassware, etc.
