Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Sous Chef for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale to lead culinary operations across resort dining and banquets. You will drive the culinary experience toward excellence, mentor staff, and ensure consistent, high-quality dishes for guests and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years in culinary/food & beverage.
• Or a 2-year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel & Restaurant Management with 4 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen management team and oversee all day-to-day operations.
• Design menus with Executive Chef and ensure product quality.
• Coach and develop staff; set performance standards.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Maintain open communication across departments and respond to guest needs.
