Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Sous Chef for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. You will lead the culinary team, drive high-quality menus, and oversee daily kitchen operations across all dining venues and banquets.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive culinary experience, and a commitment to food safety, staff development, and guest satisfaction in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in culinary, F&B, or related area
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds; work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen management team and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Design creative menus with Executive Chef Team and ensure product quality.
• Train kitchen staff and manage staffing levels and scheduling.
• Ensure sanitation and food handling standards are met.
• Assist in budgeting and controlling food cost and expenditures.
