Citarella - The Ultimate Gourmet Market is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to work with the Executive Chef to uphold Citarella standards across store locations. This role involves mentoring the culinary team, managing production, and ensuring on-site retail operations meet top quality and efficiency goals.

Experience leading high-volume kitchens, strong supervision skills, and a background in rigorously maintaining food safety and SOPs are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years of senior-level chef management experience in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen.
• Must hold an AOS Culinary School certificate or equivalent training.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus (communication with diverse staff).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all culinary production and ensure Citarella standards, systems and procedures are followed.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff; monitor SOPs, sanitation, and food handling.
• Develop production methodologies to improve efficiency, cost control, and quality.
• Manage weekly kitchen labor schedules and meet budgets for food and labor.
• Prepare, cook and package food for store delivery and oversee inventory.
