Compass Group USA's Flik Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced culinary professional to support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining a sanitary work environment.

The role prepares meals per corporate programs and guidelines, motivates and trains back-of-house staff, and helps manage food costs while delivering high-quality dishes. This position offers opportunities within a dynamic hospitality team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills.
• Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef to ensure sanitation, ServSafe, safety, production and merchandising requirements.
• Motivate, train, develop and direct back-of-house staff to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure high quality food items are creatively prepared and presented cost-effectively.
• Assist in planning, ordering, inventory and food preparation.
• Support cost controls and expenditure management for the account.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
