Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik Hospitality division seeks a motivated Sous Chef to lead the Culinary Department in a high-volume facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and menu development, working with the Executive Chef to deliver outstanding food and service.

Ideal candidates have an A.S. or equivalent, solid kitchen leadership experience, proficiency with MS Office, and a track record of cost controls and catering execution.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Culinary/kitchen management experience
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
• Knowledge of food trends, cost controls, and presentation
• Computer literacy including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures for the account
• Assist Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
• Produce and execute catering events
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team
