Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to supervise kitchen operations under the direction of the Executive Sous Chef. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality cuisine and a positive, guest-focused environment.

You will train staff, control food costs, ensure HACCP compliance, and maintain hygiene standards while guiding a kitchen team through busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Certified culinary degree and at least 4 years of culinary experience with 2 years in supervision.
• Training in Pastry, Garde Manger, Butchery, Bakery, Hot Production, Japanese Cooking, A La Carte, Buffet and Kitchen Artistry required.
• Working knowledge of Japanese, American and European cooking styles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff and daily operations to ensure safe, high‑quality meals.
• Place and check food requisitions and manage inventory costs.
• Train and coach team; enforce HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Ensure fast, friendly service and adherence to company policies.
