King's Seafood Company Career Center is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations, develop line cooks, and uphold our high-quality standards. You will partner with the Executive Chef and drive financial performance while mentoring staff and maintaining strong guest relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• 3 years experience as a sous chef/kitchen manager.
• High school graduate.
• Any formal culinary training.
• Ability to analyze and participate in financial planning.
• Ability to communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques required to prepare menu items.
• Knowledge of menu items, preparation method, ingredients and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties to set up the day for success.
• Create prep lists for all kitchen staff.
• Assist in preparing all food items for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station and areas.
• Notify Chef of deficiencies or safety hazards.
• Develop kitchen crew through cross-training and promotion.
• Lead menu roll-outs, seasonal items and recipe changes.
• Support corrective actions for kitchen operations.
• Participate in interviews and hiring of new kitchen staff.
• Interact with Guests during visits, handle complaints and special requests.
