Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef in Los Angeles to lead high-volume corporate dining operations and mentor a strong kitchen team. You will partner with the Executive Chef to run daily kitchen operations, ensuring culinary excellence and safety across all dining programs.

The role requires a 3–5 year culinary background, a culinary degree (or equivalent), and ServSafe/HACCP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or A.O.S. with specialized training.
• 3–5 years of relevant culinary experience.
• ServSafe and/or HACCP food safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef in sanitation, safety and merchandising standards.
• Motivate, train and lead back-of-house staff to exceed expectations.
• Prepare and present high-quality food cost-effectively and on-brand.
• Assist with planning, ordering, inventory management and prep across all dining operations.
• Support cost controls and manage expenditures for the account.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and leadership.
• Oversee high-quality a la carte dining, including Executive Dining.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
