Eurest, a Compass Group company, is seeking an Executive Chef in Santa Rosa, CA to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety and sanitation, and lead culinary teams in creating high-quality meals for corporate dining environments. You will plan menus, train staff, maintain inventories, control costs, and ensure compliance with health regulations.

A.S. or equivalent, 5+ years in high-volume kitchens, and hands-on leadership are required.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Hands-on chef experience a must.
• Knowledge of food trends, safety, cost controls, and presentation.
• Computer skills including MS Office.
• Willing to participate in client satisfaction programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; uses production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Keeps inventory within guidelines and ensures product availability.
• Manages leftovers within company guidelines and waste control.
• Ensures compliance with health regulations and safety policies.
• Participates in departmental meetings and staff development.
