Eurest, a leader in corporate dining, seeks an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations in Los Angeles. You will lead a team, ensure safety, and align with corporate programs while delivering high-quality meals for employees and clients.

This role emphasizes hands-on culinary leadership in a fast-paced, on-site environment. The position requires 5+ years of progressive kitchen management, catering experience, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Experience with Catering Food production & events.
• Experience managing 10+ direct reports.
• Innovative Chef Spirit with trends knowledge in California and LA market.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.
• Must be experienced with computers; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Email and Internet.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
• Prepare or direct the preparation of meals per corporate programs and guidelines.
• Plan regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manage inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability.
• Make decisions on leftover food utilization within guidelines.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Attend departmental meetings and staff development programs.
