Our founder crafted Carmine's with a vision: bringing guests the “wow-factor” and making every meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is a driven chef with leadership qualities to mentor and guide Cooks and Prep Cooks. Joining us means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to outstanding food using the freshest ingredients, delivering remarkable meals daily. As a Sous Chef, you will ensure every Southern Italian dish is made the Carmine's way.

Your Role With Us
  • Lead the hourly kitchen team members and develop them into future sous chefs.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise line and prep staff.
  • Fill in at any station, expedite orders, and assist with purchasing.
  • Ensure all meals meet quality, consistency, taste, and food cost standards.
  • Train staff, establish and enforce food specifications, portion control, recipes, sanitation, and manage food and labor costs to maximize guest satisfaction.
We Are Looking For Candidates
  • Experience as a kitchen manager or lead line cook in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and health regulations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
  • Organized, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented.
  • Understanding of restaurant finances, profitability, scheduling, and labor management.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Fluent in English communication.
  • Flexible to work various shifts.

Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000 annually + quarterly bonus.
