Responsibilities
  • Oversee all mid- and closing kitchen duties and contribute to inventory, ordering, and controlling food and labor costs.
  • Run BOH shifts and ensure effective and efficient BOH operations including food prep and cooking, inventory management, and supervising kitchen staff.
  • Lead BOH pre-shift meetings, participate in line, temp, and cooler checks, and conduct food tastings.
  • Partner with GM and/or designated managers/chefs to review and maintain recipe books.
  • Perform regular line checks to ensure quality of all menu items.
  • Purchase and order food products and supplies, including daily product orders.
  • Ensure effective communication between FOH and BOH regarding food production, timing, and special requests.
  • Partner with management to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop BOH employees.
  • Promote teamwork and excellent communication across all teams.
  • Handle challenges tactfully and courteously, responding with patience.
  • Work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, with possible overnight travel.
  • Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Executive Sous Chef experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively.
Salary Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
