Job Summary:

This role supports the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring safety and sanitation, and preparing meals according to corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and production standards.
  • Motivate, train, and direct kitchen staff to meet operational objectives.
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Participate in planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep activities.
  • Support cost control and expenditure management.
  • Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or related; or A.O.S. with additional training.
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
  • Proficiency in various kitchen stations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and create on the fly.
  • Knowledge of food cost, quality, and presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sanitation certification (ServSafe, HACCP).
  • Knowledge of culinary trends and creative presentation preferred.
