Job Summary

This individual will support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining safety and sanitation, and ensuring quality food preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and production standards.
  • Train and motivate back-of-house staff to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective food presentation.
  • Participate in planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep activities.
  • Support cost control and expenditure management.
  • Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or related field; or A.O.S. with additional training.
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
  • Proficiency in various kitchen stations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and create on the fly.
  • Knowledge of food costs and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sanitation certification (ServSafe, HACCP).
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and presentation skills preferred.
