Job summary

Stand Together, based in Washington, DC, seeks a Security Manager to lead security for the organization’s facility, events, personnel, and operations. The role includes risk assessments, executive protection, and ensuring effective security programs in a fast-paced, public environment.

We value professional discretion, strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented security mindset. This is an in-person, full-time role with travel up to 15% to support organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in executive protection, security or related field.
• Experience in risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Understanding of physical security and executive protection practices.
• Experience coordinating security operations for facilities/events.
• Familiarity with access control and surveillance tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security plans for facilities, personnel, executives and events.
• Conduct risk assessments and proactive mitigation strategies.
• Collect and communicate risk intelligence for preparedness.
• Oversee security operations: access control, perimeter, surveillance systems.
• Plan and execute security operations for high-profile engagements.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and private security partners.
• Serve as a trusted security resource for stakeholders and officials.
• Manage security vendor relationships and service delivery quality.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with coordinated actions.
• Travel as needed to support events and security operations.
