Job summary

DocuSign, Inc. seeks a Sr. Protective Services Specialist to own the design, governance, and daily execution of the executive protection program. You will manage protective details, advance travel, threat assessments, and coordination with DESC, HR, and legal teams.

This role reports to the Director, Physical Safety & Security and requires travel up to 25–30% with strong vendor management and incident command skills. Hybrid work arrangement with in‑office access is provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of executive protection or corporate protective services experience.
• Experience designing/maturing a security program and vendor management frameworks.
• Experience with threat analysis and intelligence integration.
• Experience in third‑party vendor management at scale.
• Experience collaborating across cross‑functional teams in corporate security.
• Training and/or certification in medical first response (e.g., CPR/AED/First Aid).
• Experience with law enforcement and government agencies on security planning or investigations.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–30%.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day executive protection operations for designated executives.
• Develop threat intelligence profiles and assess risks relevant to Docusign’s market exposure.
• Conduct threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments for executives and locations.
• Plan and execute security advances for travel, meetings, and events.
• Collaborate with DESC to integrate protective intelligence into EP planning.
• Serve as incident commander for EP emergencies and coordinate with DESC, HR, Legal, and external agencies.
• Establish liaison with law enforcement for high‑risk events.
• Develop EP program standards, SOPs, playbooks, and checklists.
• Track KPIs and vendor performance; report to leadership.
• Oversee vendor engagement and contract personnel; ensure quality.
• Coordinate logistics, itineraries, and after‑action reviews; optimize processes.
