Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Executive Search Coordinator to support the executive hiring process, coordinating interviews, travel, and reimbursements. The role serves as the primary onsite host for executive candidates at Medtronic HQ, requiring discretion, organization, accountability, and autonomy.

Day in the Life

The Executive Search Coordinator provides critical operational support throughout the Executive hiring process. Partnering closely with Executive Recruitment teams and Senior Medtronic leadership, the Executive Search Coordinator delivers a seamless hiring experience by coordinating interviews, booking candidate travel, creating custom itineraries and processing candidate reimbursements. The Executive Search Coordinator will be based at Medtronic Operational Headquarters and will serve as the primary onsite host for Executive candidates onsite for interviews with Senior Medtronic leadership. This role requires a high level of discretion, organization, accountability and autonomy. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Provides centralized human resource administration and support across a variety of processes and programs including Global Rewards, Global Talent & Leadership Development, Global HR Operations and Employee Relations.
  • Collaborates across the Human Resources function to establish operational standards and procedures that are leveraged to respond to employee and manager questions, ensures transactions are processed accurately and human resource programs and processes are administered effectively and efficiently.
  • Leads & participates in internal and cross-functional initiatives related to continuous process and quality improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Identifies customer-impacting issues and implement solutions and process improvements to increase customer experiences.
  • Ensures streamlined human processes, workflows, metrics, and system optimization.
  • Helps to define requirements for systems that will facilitate increased efficiencies, automation and/or self-service for various HR processes.
  • May also create test plans, lead testing cycles, and configure systems.
  • Provides segmented professional support to VPs and managers or employees during moments that matter with the ability to emphasize with the customer and apply discretion where needed in interactions with customers.

Qualifications
  • Requires 2+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred qualifications Travel and reimbursement experience Process improvement mindset.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$64,000.00 - $96,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week:
