The Gardner School of Dedham is seeking an Executive School Director to lead a thriving early childhood program. You will build a high-performing team, foster family partnerships, and implement our mission and values from Day One.

This hands-on leader will oversee educational quality, operations, licensing compliance, and financial performance while guiding community engagement and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Director II qualifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Prefer degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Education Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive enrollment and family engagement to meet growth targets.
• Lead staffing and development, ensuring appropriate staff/child ratios.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and school profitability.
• Ensure licensing and quality standards compliance.
