Job summary

The Gardner School of Cambridge seeks an Executive School Director to lead a thriving school community, build a high-performing team, and nurture family partnerships. You will drive enrollment, ensure educational excellence, and guide operational and financial performance with a hands-on leadership style.

Reporting to the District Manager, you will oversee staffing, compliance, budget, and program quality while upholding The Gardner School’s mission and values in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Meet Massachusetts Director II Qualifications (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree (Required). Master’s degree (preferred).
• Prefer degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Education Administration, Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive enrollment to meet targets and manage enrollment milestones.
• Serve as the primary sales leader for the school and engage prospective families.
• Execute community marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and enrollment.
• Track, analyze, and act on enrollment pipeline metrics to refine strategies.
• Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team and conduct regular observations.
