Leeds Professional Resources is seeking a driven, results-oriented Full Desk Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle - from developing new client relationships and generating job orders to sourcing, interviewing, presenting, and placing qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales and recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, developing business, and working in a fast-paced staffing environment. Success in this role requires a strong balance of business development, recruiting, networking, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new client relationships through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and other business-development strategies.
- Prospect companies with current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Develop relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, Talent Acquisition teams, and company executives.
- Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, company culture, compensation, and position requirements.
- Generate new job orders and expand existing client relationships.
- Present Leeds Professional Resources' staffing solutions and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients to build long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate terms, fees, and other business agreements within company guidelines.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, databases, social media, and other recruiting resources.
- Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, career goals, and cultural fit.
- Match candidates to appropriate client opportunities.
- Prepare candidate profiles and present qualified candidates to clients.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct reference checks and assist with background and employment verification processes as needed.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates across assigned specialties.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or related experience preferred.
- Staffing agency experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting business-development activities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, recruiting platforms, and CRM/ATS systems.
