Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. seeks an Off-Duty Officer to maintain a safe, secure environment for clients across diverse settings.

The role focuses on threat assessment, advanced planning, and problem-solving within residential and commercial contexts. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years law enforcement experience, POST certification, and active CCW/ firearms credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement.
• POST certification.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• Proof of annual firearms requalification or annual firearms training.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law; all documentation and fees are the employee's responsibility.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
• Flexibility to work any shifts (Mon-Sun) and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients in stressful situations.
• Observe for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergencies on-site.
• Support investigations and surveillance activities.
• Provide product escorts and executive protection.
• Perform related duties as required.
