Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Off-Duty Officer (ODO) to provide a secure environment for clients across multiple settings. Responsibilities include executive protection, surveillance support, and on-site emergency response, with a focus on planning and threat assessment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, POST certification, active law enforcement credentials, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Active/retired law enforcement and POST certification preferred.
• CCW/exposed firearms permits and state guard certification required.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible and able to function in stressful situations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients on-site.
• Create a safe, professional environment for visitors and assets.
• Observe for unusual activity and respond to emergencies on-site.
• Perform investigation and surveillance support, product escort, and executive protection.
