Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Off-Duty Officer in Metairie, LA. This part-time role focuses on advanced planning, threat assessment, and protecting clients across various environments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or equivalent experience, 3+ years in law enforcement, POST certification, and active firearms permits. Travel up to 50% may be required. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• POST certification.
• Active CCW and exposed firearms permits.
• State guard certification as prescribed by state law.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
• Flexibility to work any shift Mon-Sun and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Function in stressful situations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Create a safe, professional setting for visitors and clients.
• Observe unusual activity and respond to emergencies on-site.
• Support investigation and surveillance efforts.
• Escort products and provide executive protection.
• Perform other related duties as required.
