Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking a PROJECT COORDINATOR-ENT for the IT and HSIS teams. This role drafts reports for program managers and supports planning, scheduling, budgeting, and issue resolution to keep projects on track.

The position may be hybrid after onboarding, with responsibilities spanning calendar management, travel arrangements, document preparation, and coordination with various stakeholders. HIPAA/FERPA security training is required annually.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and three years of related experience required.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities with strong organizational practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Outlook calendar management and Microsoft Office apps is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes administrative tasks for executive leaders and units: calendars, meetings, minutes, travel, reimbursements, and payments.
• Coordinates facilities and space management for assigned locations.
• Conducts and coordinates special projects for executive leadership, including event planning.
• Prepares and disseminates planning documents, marketing materials, status reports, and other communications.
• Processes IT service billing transactions and generates revenue reports and analyses.
• Assists with contract administration in partnership with UAB IT departments.
• Performs additional duties as assigned for department success.
