Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions seeks a Project Director to provide executive leadership for large-scale hyperscale data center and mission-critical projects nationwide. You will oversee project pursuit to turnover, ensuring safety, client satisfaction, and strong commercial performance.

You will manage diverse teams, align clients and subcontractors, and drive profitability while guiding staffing, procurement, and risk management across multiple projects. Travel ~75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive project leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale mission-critical infrastructure projects (hyperscale data centers).
• Strong client-facing experience with executive-level relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Establish project execution strategies for safety, quality, schedule, and financials.
• Lead Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, and field leadership.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, developers, and stakeholders.
• Drive profitability through commercial management, forecasting, risk and change management.
• Support growth initiatives, pursuits, proposals, and customer engagement.
