ENCOUNTER Church is seeking an Executive Pastor to implement the church's vision in partnership with the Executive Team, including the Lead Pastor and Executive Director. This full-time role leads a diverse ministry portfolio spanning Family Ministries, Finance, HR, Facilities, and Preschool, and guides discipleship and spiritual formation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of team leadership experience in ministry environments.
• Agreement with Encounter’s Statement of Faith and Bylaws.
• Graduate degree preferred for ministry leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Vision: shepherd the church vision in partnership with the Executive Team to translate it into ministry plans.
• Team Leadership: oversee ministry and operational leaders to implement the vision with pastoral care.
• Discipleship Pathway Formation: develop and implement a discipleship pathway for spiritual growth.
• Teaching: share teaching of God’s Word and provide pastoral care including weddings and funerals as needed.
• Operations: oversee Finance, HR, Facilities, Preschool and IT, aligning budgets with ministry priorities.
