Job summary

Eastern Star Church is seeking an Executive Pastor of Discipleship & Experience to provide executive leadership for discipleship, membership engagement, ministry alignment, stewardship, and the overall church experience. You will partner with the Lead Pastor to align worship, creative arts, and member engagement with the church vision.

The role blends spiritual shepherding with strategic ministry architecture, growing faith, authentic community, and transformational experiences across campuses.

Qualifications

• Theology degree preferred or equivalent ministry experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive pastoral and ministry leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading ministry teams, developing leaders, and executing organizational vision.
• Experience working closely with executive leadership and senior pastoral leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and pastoral oversight for all church ministries, ministry leaders, and ministry operations.
• Ensure ministries align with the church vision, mission, values, and spiritual direction.
• Develop ministry structures and leadership frameworks to promote effectiveness and accountability.
• Lead ministry planning, strategic goal setting, and implementation across all ministry areas.
• Evaluate ministry effectiveness and recommend improvements to strengthen impact and growth.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and executive leadership to execute the church vision and experience strategy.
