Job summary

Paired is seeking an Executive Business Partner to support the CFO in a fast-growing DTC-focused startup. The role is fully remote and requires partnering with senior leadership across finance, legal, and operations to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

You will manage the CFO’s calendar, oversee critical workflows, and optimize processes using AI tools and automation. Strong financial acumen, communication, and experience in high-growth environments are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting founders or senior executives in high-growth environments.
• Experience in startup/DTC/ecommerce, with familiarity in finance workflows.
• Proficient with AI tools and automation to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Own CFO calendar, inbox, priorities, and cross-workstream follow-through.
• Serve as execution partner bridging leadership, vendors, legal, finance, and operations.
• Support business operations and strategic initiatives with accountability tracking.
• Coordinate vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and due diligence.
• Assist with legal/compliance workflows including contracts and IP docs.
• Review financial reports, budgets, vendor pricing, and invoicing for anomalies.
• Build and improve SOPs, dashboards, and processes to cut executive overhead.
• Leverage Claude, ChatGPT, and automation to optimize workflows.
• Prepare meeting materials and executive briefings; manage action-item follow-ups.
• Support exit readiness, data rooms, and confidential documentation as needed.
• Coordinate travel and ad hoc executive support in a fast-changing setting.
