Job summary

The Well is seeking a Director of Operations for a growing independent wealth management firm in the United States. This role leads a large operations team and oversees client service, paraplanner, marketing coordination and data functions, with a focus on turning the service model into scalable workflows.

You will drive staffing, workflows and reporting, run major seasonal campaigns, and shape a CRM/reporting build to support firm scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in RIA/Broker-Dealer operations with 3+ years leading ops or client service teams.
• Served as a DOO at a firm with over $5B AUM.
• Experience leading through managers, not just doing the work yourself.
• Hands-on CRM ownership—built data models and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead client service, paraplanner, marketing coordination and data functions reporting to COO.
• Build staffing, workflows and reporting behind the firm's service model.
• Run the firm's biggest seasonal campaigns (Roth conversions, RMDs, year-end deadlines) as coordinated initiatives.
• Shape a CRM and reporting build from the ground up as the firm scales.
