Job summary

Goodall Brazier Ltd is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the electrical construction operation, driving growth, profitability, and a high-performing team. You will partner with executive leadership to shape strategy, optimize budgets, and deliver profitable projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role demands a decade of senior-level experience in electrical contracting, strong leadership, and the ability to influence decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10 years of mid- to senior-level management experience in electrical contracting.
• Strong track record in operational leadership, commercial management, and financial performance.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects, leading teams, and driving profitability.
• Ability to think strategically while understanding the commercial realities of delivering electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational strategy, project performance, and overall direction of the business.
• Own budgets, forecasting, profit and loss, and WIP reporting.
• Oversee project procurement, estimating, contracts, and commercial risk.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operational leaders and project management teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, expand the project portfolio, and strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning and long-term strategy.
• Drive improvements in processes, project delivery, safety, quality, and efficiency.
