Job summary

Gilder Search Group represents a diversified manufacturer of metal parts and assemblies with approximately 350 employees. The Director of Operations will lead two facilities and drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity and culture, reporting directly to the President & CEO.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and develop strategies to support future growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on shop floor leadership experience.
• Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement expertise.
• Strong analytical and KPI-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations across two facilities.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.
• Coach and develop supervisors and operations leaders.
• Build accountability throughout the organization.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR and Finance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop operational strategies that support future growth.
