Job summary

Simply Driven Executive Search seeks a Director of Manufacturing to lead operations with accountability for safety, food safety, quality, service, cost, productivity and associate engagement.

The role builds capable teams and future leaders, translating objectives into operating plans while establishing discipline to meet production schedules and support profitable growth. Success is measured by delivering better, more consistent results through data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing, including five years leading multiple production departments or an entire manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing leadership team and hold leaders accountable for results and development.
• Develop production managers and supervisors who use data to address performance gaps and solve problems at root cause.
• Establish and sustain a Daily Management System with visual performance management and Gemba walks.
• Improve throughput, equipment reliability and capacity utilization while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, operating expenses and cost drivers and drive measurable productivity savings.
