Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a seasoned clinical development leader to drive the design, execution, and interpretation of one or more complex clinical programs. You will oversee cross-functional teams, ensure study integrity, and lead regulatory submissions with robust scientific content.

The role requires MD/DO (or international equivalent), 5+ years of trial experience (7+ preferred), and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or international equivalent with relevant therapeutic specialty.
• 5+ years (7+ preferred) of clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a complex clinical research program independently.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a cross-functional global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of clinical development programs and study protocols.
• Oversee study teams, ensure study integrity, enrollment, timelines, and safety data review.
• Provide clinical expertise for regulatory submissions and scientific communications.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and other functions to inform development plans.
• Represent AbbVie in external meetings and stay current with regulatory expectations.
