Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/DO or non-US equivalent with relevant specialty; residency preferred; subspecialty fellowship desirable.
• At least 5 years (7 years preferred) of clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a complex clinical research program independently.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a cross-functional global team.
• Ability to interact externally and internally to support global scientific and business strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment and address complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of study data and regulatory documents.
• Oversees clinical study teams, ensures enrollment timelines and data integrity.
• Serves as clinical expert coordinating activities with internal stakeholders.
• Chairs or participates in Clinical Strategy Teams and develops Clinical Development Plans.
• Represents AbbVie at external meetings and interacts with investigators and sites.
• Ensures adherence to Good Clinical Practices and regulatory standards.
