Job summary

Vanderbilt Health - Executive Search Team is conducting a national search for an Associate Nursing Officer, Virtual Care. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, Vanderbilt University Hospital, the ANO will provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for virtual nursing and technology-enabled care delivery across Vanderbilt University Hospital.

Qualifications

Nursing degree required. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of senior leadership experience in nursing.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), PhD, or other relevant doctoral degree (preferred).
Experience leading virtual nursing, centralized nursing operations, remote patient monitoring, or digital health programs.
Experience with healthcare technology implementation, clinical informatics, and innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive virtual care nursing strategy aligned with VUMC's mission and priorities.
Identify opportunities to expand virtual nursing, telehealth, and digital care capabilities in inpatient and procedural settings.
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate emerging technologies and care delivery models for access, quality, safety, and efficiency.
Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of virtual nursing programs and telehealth-enabled services.
