Job summary

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) seeks a Facilitator to guide up to ten 20 Club networking groups, connecting owners and CEOs with confidential peer exchange and best practices. The role requires travel to ~20 multi-day meetings annually and close partnership with club leadership.

Responsibilities include developing agendas, managing logistics, and ensuring adherence to policies while maintaining confidentiality and strong member relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, association management, or related field.
• Four to six years of experience in member services, committee or volunteer management, program management, meeting management, business consulting, executive coaching, or related capacity.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings involving senior executives, members, committees, boards, or volunteer leaders.
• Ability to guide productive discussions, manage differing viewpoints, and navigate challenging interpersonal dynamics.
• Ability to learn and communicate program policies and procedures while collaborating with members and internal staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate assigned 20 Club meetings with chairs, hosts, and volunteer leaders to ensure productive discussions and policy adherence.
• Guide peer-to-peer discussions among owners and senior executives while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality.
• Develop meeting agendas addressing member business needs and opportunities for education and peer exchange.
• Coordinate meeting preparation and follow-up, including agendas, minutes, action items, and reporting while managing multiple clubs.
• Oversee on-site meeting logistics with hotels, venues, speakers, sponsors, and vendors per NAHB policies.
• Coordinate group dinners and speakers, including venue selection, reservations, and on-site support.
• Respond to meeting-related issues, address schedule disruptions, and escalate significant matters.
• Represent NAHB by sharing best practices and connecting members with resources and experts.
